The University of Rochester Medical Research Building, designed by Perkins + Will, is a 300,000-square-foot segment of the overall University of Rochester Medical Center campus located in Rochester, New York. The Medical Center itself is comprised of Strong Memorial Hospital, the School of Medicine and Dentistry, and the School
of Nursing.

A comprehensive donor recognition program for this new research facility was designed which includes all public, clinical, and educational spaces within the facility. Typography, materials, color palettes, and finishes are
related to and integral to the exterior and interior architecture of the new building. The donor recognition wall acknowledges the contributions of Arthur Kornberg, a prominent alumni and recipient of the Nobel Medal in Medicine for the synthesis of DNA, as well as significant donors and funders that made the construction of the new facility possible.
