The University of Rochester Medical Research Building, designed by Perkins + Will, is a 300,000-square-foot segment of the overall University of Rochester Medical Center campus, located in Rochester, New York. The Medical Center itself is comprised of Strong Memorial Hospital, the School of Medicine and Dentistry, and the School of Nursing.

Poulin + Morris designed a permanent lobby exhibition on the life and contributions of a prominent University of Rochester alumni, Arthur Kornberg, for whom the building is named. The exhibition, organized chronologically, celebrates his life from early education and clinical training to research, teaching, and his receiving the Nobel Medal in Medicine for the synthesis of DNA. The only three-dimensional element displayed within the exhibition is the actual Nobel Prize medal presented to Arthur Kornberg in 1959.

This project was recognized by Communication Arts for Design Excellence in Exhibition Design.
