UBS selected Poulin + Morris to design the environmental graphics and wayfinding sign program for its North American headquarters in Stamford, Connecticut, designed by Skidmore Owings & Merrill. This corporate complex, comprised of a 600,000-square-foot office building, a double-height trading floor, and a 490,000-square-foot, six-level parking garage for 1,400 cars, represents the Bank’s visionary role in relocating from the traditional financial capital of New York City to a location in southwest Connecticut.
The objective for this project was to create a graphic program that provides a cohesive visual theme for the new building through the use of typography, color, material, and UBS corporate identity design standards.
