Ann Taylor is a specialty retailer of women’s clothing with over 900 stores in the United States, operating under 3 distinct brands: Ann Taylor, Ann Taylor Loft, and Ann Taylor Factory. Ann Taylor Loft’s flagship store, an 8,500-square-foot venue located in Times Square, captures the vitality of a theatrical stage setting within the Broadway environment.

A bold identification for the storefront façade is in keeping with the grand scale of the Times Square neighborhood with the main entrance accentuated by an undulating ribbon of more than 30,000 flashing LED lights curving inside and out of the storefront. Choreographed, animated marquee patterns and 8-foot high letters spelling ‘Loft’ illuminate the store’s windows while evoking the history and excitement of Times Square.

The project was recognized by Graphis, Novum World of Graphic Design (Germany) and Signs of the Times for Design Excellence in Environmental Graphic Design.
