Bounded by Greenwich Street, Houston Street, Sixth Avenue, and Canal Street, Hudson Square is home to over 30,000 people working in advertising, design, media, and communication businesses. Functioning as the Business Improvement District (BID) for this Lower Manhattan neighborhood, Hudson Square Connection is also the primary catalyst in an effort to transform this area into an attractive, lively, 24-7 neighborhood and major creative business hub.

Hudson Square Connection's branding and graphic identity program includes a logotype, stationery, event banners, promotional posters, and an annual report. The solution for the new logotype relies upon form, vibrant color, and distinctive sans serif typography, resulting in a composite of multiple colored squares, evoking movement, diversity, and innovation of the BID; and complements the character of the organization and the neighborhood itself.

The collective goal of Hudson Square Connection program is to capture the spirit that is thriving in the commercial spaces and bring that energy into the public realm.

The project was recognized by Graphis for Design Excellence in Graphic Design.
